On Friday evening, April 20th, author Jay Michaelson will be coming to Sha’ar Zahav to speak about his new bestselling book, “God vs. Gay? The Religious Case for Equality,” recently published by Beacon Press.
Some of you have heard of this moving and ecumenically-minded book, which argues that religious people should support equality for LGBT folks because of religion, not despite it. Jay will be speaking from 6 to 6:45 PM. Light refreshments will be served. We hope that you will be able to join us for this event and stay for the monthly musical service that follows.
